However, they are tanky units which can be combined with Skirmishers or Hussars to take down groups of infantry and artillery units, respectively. Saxon Cuirassiers share most of their stats with the French Cuirassier, like their high hit points, melee attack, and speed, but costing wood instead of coin, not taking population space, and having a build limit, which can be increased by building a Trading Post at another House of Wettin palace or sending the "Native Warrior Societies" Home City Card.ĭue to their build limit (only seven of them per palace), Saxon Cuirassiers can not be easily massed. ![]() ![]() Like its French counterpart, the Saxon Cuirassier is a heavy cavalry unit only capable of attacking in melee combat, but dealing splash damage, which makes them effective against large groups of units such as light infantry or artillery, but they are still vulnerable against heavy infantry or light cavalry. ![]()
